Anyone else want this from colt

If Colt could figure a way to manufacture Pythons with today's technology, without all the hand fitting, retaining the smoothness and beautiful bluing, (Is that really possible?) and price it within $100 of the new Smith offerings, it would probably be a great seller. OTOH, their new King Cobra with adjustable sights would be a real seller, too, IMNHO.

Never going to happen. Even if they could CAD/CAM the Python it would not be hand fitted like the old ones. Also the knowledge on how to do that polish and blue is rapidly fading.

Yes I went to a gun shop event they had a colt representative I asked him about a saa he said they only had 1 or 2 of the old guys left and a younger apprentice that’s all that’s left of the old ways

Colt needs a new DIAMONDBACK. Put a 4 inch barrel on the NEW KING COBRA and adjustable sights and you have it.

Also, consider bringing out a new ORIGINAL KING COBRA with the .41 caliber frame. A 5 inch non fully underlugged barrel would make it perfect.
