Anyone Ever Have Buyer's Remorse After Buying a New (or Used) Gun?

I think the more you research a gun before buying it, I think the more remorse you have immediately AFTER you buy it.

I have noticed after about 3-6 months after a new purchase...

I will begin to really LOVE having the new gun.

Then after that amount of time if I sell it, once it is gone...

I will miss it. :(

Yes; my first 12 gauge - a very worn late 60s or early 70s Baikal single barrel. You could see the headspace play when "bending" the closed action back and forth. Upon firing the back of the triggerguard/action lever hit the base of my middle finger so hard I had to bandage it every time I went shooting. I didn't keep that one very long.

Ditto on the Sig. After shooting it a few times and fighting the misfeeds and crap trigger, I felt I had wasted my money. The mosquito is the worst .22 I've ever owned.

Only in those instances where, upon arriving home and breaking one down, I noticed some defect.

Before I joined THR I purchased a number of guns on a whim and they turned out to be major let downs. Now before I buy a gun I do a lot of research first and check the knowledge bank of the members on here first.

I will say that as far sellers remorse I have a lot more:banghead:
