NYS DEC sets out decoy deer at times and they snag a pile of "hunters" shooting out the window.
My bud and I were driving along during deer season and stopped when we saw a huge buck standing motionless about 100 yds off in some low brush so we pulled over.
We stared at ol Bullwinkle for about 5 minutes and decided that this was a decoy for sure, but hey ya never know so we got out and slowly walked towards him.
With our guns loaded, we got to within 30 yds of him walking right out in the open. Then in a blink of an eye, he took one leap and was gone!
We got no shot..LOL
