I have been looking at the new Springfield Armory XDM online and I'm very interested in this pistol. Does anyone have one? I'm waiting for the 9mm model to come out.

I have one. I like the trigger and the fully supported chamber with match barrel. I believe they were made basically as a stock shooting sport gun.
The October issue of Guns & Ammo magazine has ads for the XDm 9mm.

I have two "normal" XD's. Tried the XD-M at a gunshow and didn't like the feel of the new grip design. Felt slicker somehow, either due to the pattern or maybe a different polymer? Either way didn't like it. Felt like it would be great shooting in cold weather with gloves on though.

I bought an XDM a few weeks ago, it's been very enjoyable to shoot.

The 9mm model is in a pull out ad of this months Guns and Ammo magazine so it's probably not long before it's available.

did they reduce the trigger reset on it over regular XD's? I've got an XD9sc and love everything about it other then the long reset.

If they make an XDMsc in 9mm that fixed the reset i'd gladly trade in my old model for one.

I have and love an XD-45c. The XDM is a new version that doesn't appear to be all that much different from the existing line which means it's a wonderful gun but at a higher price. So far, only in .40 and now 9MM but according to stories on the XD Forum the 45 version will probably appear around Christmas.
The current XD feels like it was made for me and I shoot it better than any other pistol I've ever fired. Points naturally and doesn't seem to pull off aim in any way when fired. The new one will have to be as good to attract me.
That said I'm interested in the 45 version to come of the XDM.:)

My XD9sc goes everywhere my car goes - easy to shoot very well. Although I'm a diehard HK fan, when the XD(M) comes out in either 9mm or 45acp, I'll have to give it a look see.

Springer or powder rivers kit can fix the triggers to where they have about 3/8" total movement.

I dont have a XDm but probably will get one sometime soon. I do however have a XD45compact which I love and also a XD9subcompact.
The 45compacts grips fits me just perfect with the flush magazines and I havent had a single problem out of either gun with about 3000 rds thru them.

I don't have one, but my buddy does. I have shot his, and it is a very nice pistol. It handles recoil well, good trigger, and shoots good groups. Of course, my old xd40 shoots just as well as the new model.
