anyone tried holographic sights?

I had an eotech (newer model 517 with buttons on side).....i liked it and never had any problems with it functionally but I sold it recently for an aimpoint micro T1......I just really liked the idea of shedding some weight on my AR.

I ended up buying an EOTech 512, chickened out of the over $200 more for the T1. Stocking up on AA batteries, too.

i have an EoTech, not sure the model number - buttons on the front, takes the little batteries. thing is FREAKIN AWESOME. if i woke up and it was gone, i'd go str8 out and buy another one
