Has anyone tried the guide rod laser for the Gen 4 glock? I'm thinking of getting one for my Glock 22, although they are pricey. Wanted a real world update before I take the plunge. Main reason is I won't have to buy new holsters, otherwise but I would for for a rail mounted unit.

Thanks

Can't say anything about the glock gen 4's but i have one in my gen 3 glock 22 and works great lasermax uses wolfe spring on all thier guide rods. battries are availible from wally world .

I have one on a gen 3 G22, came with the gun so it doesn't owe me a thing but it works as advertised and I haven't had to change the battery in all the years I have had it.
I honestly can't bring myself to buy another for my 19 or 23 because they are fairly spendy but if I didn't have one that might be different.
IMO the switch is the best in the business.

Lasermax has been around forever, they ae a good product. I know many people who swear by them.

Always wondered how they held up, I abhor sticking things onto my gun, but a guide-rod one is unobtrusive enough to pique my interest.

I don't like the fact that you can't adjust for windage and elevation; also would like to be able to swap recoil springs. How difficult to swap springs?

The guide rod is so close to the bore that any adjustments would be moot the guide rods are set at POA to POI at 20 yards for what its designed for I'd say thats good enough
