Anyone use GIbrass.com?

I think he also goes by GIbrass as well. I am preparing for the OSHA onslaught and want to buy a good amount of reloading gear. He has non pull down 4895 (but says closer to 4064 which is fine by me) 100.00$ per 8lb jug? Sounds good but I was wondering if anyone else has a 4895 pull down that I might get for cheaper since the rest of his pwders are pull down and go for 40.00 per 8lb jug? 100.00 ain't bad but every little bit helps?

OSHA has withdrawn its proposed rulemaking.

I've bought a good bit of stuff from GI Brass, when prices were a lot lower. The surplus 4895 is just a couple dollars less an 8-pounder than new from Powder Valley. With new powder, there is none of the uncertainty as to burn rate or powder life expectancy. YMMV.

Haven't ordered any powder or primers from him, but I've ordered lots of brass & bullets.

Seems friendly, and has good service.

A lot of the $40/8 pounds are for rifle with quite abit larger bore. We're talking powder for 50 BMG and other large calibers where a very slow powder is useful. It's not meant for smaller caliber standard ammo. I've ordered surplus from him in the past and would if he got in powder I found useful.

BsChoy,

You missed out on the last of the "reasonably priced" IMR4895, last year at $78 per 8#. Have not seen anything else on the market, and like was previously said, the $40 stuff is much too slow for medium bore use.

Maybe its for the better...it meant testing in all my guns again...the wife wouldn't think to highly of that idea!

I've dealt with Jeff Bartlett a lot over the past 6 or so years. He's a great guy to deal with. I've not had a single problem with ANY of his powders. It seems right now though, he's having a tough time getting anything to sell.

Pats reloading usually has a lot more choices than Jeff does. Dunno why that is, but I've never ordered anything from Pat.
