Anyone using Red Dot in 9mm?

Red Dot is fluffy, but in a way, that’s good for 9mm. You can easily see the powder in the case before setting the bullet. A double charge will overfill the case. The powder throws can vary a little, maybe -0.2, but I have never had an issue with bridging (getting a near zero throw) like I have with Unique or 700X with my Lee AutoDisk.

And I think that maybe why Alliant released Promo, Red Dot-like powder with same burn rate but meters better than Red Dot which varied in powder charge of .2-.3 gr+ with some very low powder charges on occasion (likely from bridging of granules).

Here's Red Dot compared to Promo when it was initially released. It looked essentially like Red Dot with rough flakes and round flakes added (without the "red" colored flakes) that metered with .2+ gr variance -

And old Promo compared to new Promo (Maybe this is when "reblending" took place around 2018? ... "reblended" Promo pictured on the right was made before 2018) where rough Red Dot flakes are gone and it was all round flakes that metered better (Same .12 gr variance as W231/HP-38 in my C-H 502 micrometer measure 10 drop test). We kept telling Paul from Alliant that we liked Promo but wanted it to meter better so perhaps Promo going to all round flakes addressed the bridging of powder granules?
