I sent a message to the seller pointing out that some of his claims were simply untrue.

He responded, "if you don't want the pistol, don't bid on it".

Nothing like an honest seller.

FYI,

Quote:
I also have a bridge in Northern Michigan I am selling...CHEAP

I told you before, get the salt water damage fixed and I'll buy it.

Both the Mackinaw bridge separating the Upper and Lower peninsulas of Michigan, and the International Bridge separating Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan and Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario Canada both span fresh water bodies.

:)

The seller of that pistol is a flat out liar.

Anyone who buys from that seller is a fool.

Oh man I HAVE GOT TO GET THIS!! It will complement my 1903 Springfield carried by Sargent York and my M1 Garand carried by Autie Murphy. I also have a bridge in Northern Michigan I am selling...CHEAP.

Yea but I have Patton's 1911 :D

Sediment,

Your boast is weak.

I have Geo Washington's saber, flintlock pistol, his masonic gavel AND his false teeth.

Hmmmm....were they making sabers in Taiwan back then? I wonder how Geo got a saber marked Taiwan. Must be really rare.

The operators I worked with sometimes carried weapons that never had a serial number on it. It all depended on the mission and whom they were doing the mission for.

This is a former SEAL tactical handgun.

Stop laughing. I mean it! Stop laughing!

The gun shop owner assured me it was used by Jack Bauer when he "offed" OBL in a cave in Tora Bora.

Stop laughing I say!

A LOT of people have claimed to be SEALS through the years, and there are even websites run by ex-SEALS to "out" the imposters.

If you live long enough, you'll meet several "SEALS" who aren't.

Navy SEALS, hah, I can go you one better

I was minding my own business trying to complete a slow shift as a bartender. A stranger came in, sat down and ordered a beer.

He eyed a couple of things I had hung on the wall from VN. After the usual questions, he confided in me that he was a member of the super elite, super secret ARMY SEALS!

Later, he asked what the yellow cord thingy was hanging on the wall back by the pay phone. I replied that it was a parachute static line normally attached to a T-10 parachute. He gave me a blank stare and said "OK".

I asked if ARMY SEALS were airborne qualified. He replied that they only used highly classified equipment not seen on common bars.

HARLEY RIDER

just a question. would a weapon devoid of serial numbers and manuf. markings scream "spook". The idea is to use equipment that is non attributable rather than equipment the raises awkward questions. Were your operators ARMY SEALS by any chance?
