I frequent an Applebee’s near my home, and heard from a friend in Texas that your company prohibits patrons from carrying legally concealed firearms on your premises. Is this a company policy? I hope not, but if so, I can no longer continue to patronize your establishments. I enjoy your restaurants, and hope to continue patronizing them. I hope to hear that my friend's difficulties are the temporary result of a local oversight. Many thanks for your time. I look forward to your reply.

i hereby agree to officially boycott applebees, never went there anyways,

besides i just heard they BOIL their ribs

i did up some babybacks the other day in the smoker with the natural charcoal...

I just checked by phone with the manager of the local Applebee's here in Moscow Idaho.

"we are not allowed to allow CCW on the premises"

he also did not know if they had a sign posted.

Just Curious...with all of the quality restaurants in SE Texas and the interesting local eateries that do smoked meats why would you ever want to eat at Applebys...after 6 years, I've not even been interested.

Applebys is just not on the culinary radar here. There is no shortage of interesting restaurants in San Antonio either.

Very true but sometimes the parents are tired and they just want to sit down and eat at the first available scarfateria.

Thats how I ended up in there and saw the offending sign in the first place.

They fixed their stupid no guns rules, took down the signs so I took my family there to thank applebees fo doing the right thing.

(I recommend Cha Chas on Babcock near the medical center.)

In Florida, you can't carry in an establishment that serves alcohol for consumption on the premesis.

So picking up groceries at Winn-Dixie is OK even though the sell beer, but TGI Fridays, Applebees, Roadhouse etc. are all verboten
