my "new barrel" was shooting about what you are getting with your "new barrel" when the count was around 100 rounds...
i have found a lot better accurary now that it's around 400 rounds shots, it need some brake-in period "300" rounds at lease for me.
since you have a 1/9 twist i would stick to 55gr-62gr bullets no more than that and just shoot at lease 200 rounds more, dont look for accuracy, just blast some rounds at the range, once you get home clean it and on your next trip to the shooting range try for accuracy, remember that cold bore shot are different than the other 2-5 shots after that.
Thanks for all the input. Kept seeing references to 1:9 twist until it dawned on me that it was my typo error from the get-go. Should have been 1:8.
At any rate, various advice led me down the path of doing a little crown polishing, aggressive bore cleaning and a little bore polishing. Groups dropped in half but still will need to address some flyers and larger groups on the 69gr bullets - better groups means restart on identifying best powder load. Will do some more serious bore and crown "lapping" in the future for even better results.
