AR 15-Folding stock adapter

I saw a installation video of a Gen 3 AR 15-Folding stock adapter on Facebook. Seems like it may be a good option in some cases but I don't have a lot of experience/knowledge. You guys have an opinion on this, good idea or not?

They are used to make your ar a bit more compact and to add the cool factor of a folding stock, however it renders the firearm useless with the stock folded. Great for carry and concealment but not for quick reaction. You can get good at it with practice but first make sure your AR runs reliable with the buffer extension.

Any idea how the GEN3 on Facebook compares to the LAW tactical? I've seen that ad as well and its very tempting.
