If any body knows where to get armalite ar 180 mags or parts please let me know I have the original not the ar 180b

phone numbers, websites, company names ect.

You can use mags for the M-16 and have a slot machined into them so that the mag release will hold the mag in place.

I did that about 25 years ago and they still work fine.

If you use modified AR15 mags,you will also have to cut a step into the rear of the follower so that your bolt hold open will work.No big deal,takes two minutes with a Dremel.And you may want to grind off the bulge on the left side of the mag.Don't need it on the AR180 and it makes the mags fit a little too tight.I have one original AR18 mag,I made the rest,and it was easy.There is a company selling original mags for $40.00 a pop,ask over on AR15.com,because I can't remember who.
