So my disconnector timing is just a little off, and sometimes will not release the hammer. The simplest solution would be to take some off the nose of the disconnector hook that catches the hammer. Would that cause a problem with the remaining nose rounding off and no longer catching the hammer? I know on the actual sear engagement surfaces you aren't supposed to touch them because they are only surface hardened, and I didn't know if the disconnector was a similar deal. MY other option is the build up a little pad of jb weld under the front of the disconnector to move the hook rearward.
