Hi, all.
I have a New York legal Thordsen stock AR-15 with an exposed buffer tube. The Strike Eagle scope with removable cantilever mount that allows low iron sights to be left on the rifle.
I am a beginner and may be sighting wrong, but it seems that I need just a little more height when I press my cheek against the buffer tube. I see a parallax shadow unless I raise my eye.
I see that Thordsen has a cheek pad but it seems thin. Anyone have experience with it? Anyone able to offer a better solution for my aiming or the rifle?
Thank you.
