I hope this isn't beating a dead horse too much. I'm looking to build an AR 9mm that accepts glock mags. I know a local shop here only builds with QC 10 lowers. Are they really that much better than the competition? For the price the PSA AR 9mm lower has me looking hard at that. Of course that's if can find it in stock at the time.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks Jwb.

I've a QC10 lower and a New Frontier that take Glock Mags. IMHO it all boils down to do you think having a BHO is worth all the extra cost. It took some tweaking to get the BHO to work, but it has been reliable if I keep it clean since I "weakened" the spring enough for it to work.

Quarter Circle 10 wants $289 for a dedicated 9mm Glock lower (billet 7075 T6 Aluminum)?! - https://www.quartercircle10.com/glock-small-frame-lower-receiver.html

New Frontier Armory sells their Glock lower (billet 7075 T6 aluminum) for $169 - https://newfrontierarmory.com/shop/c-9-stripped-billet-lower-receiver-glock-style-mags/

And Joe Bob Outfitters sells New Frontier Armory Glock lowers (with their own logo) for $149 with free shipping - https://www.joeboboutfitters.com/Sp...ine_Compatible_Billet_Lower_p/jb-spartan9.htm

I currently use Just Right carbine with Glock mag well and used to not having last round bolt hold open.

Cheaper rebranded new frontier lower, but I don't know about shipping. https://www.runnerrunnerguns.com/product_p/ffl-rrg-thor-billet.htm

Or pay more for no logo https://www.unbrandedar.com/9mm-AR15-p/b9m.htm

Or actual new frontier https://www.freedommunitions.com/c-9-billet-9mm-ar15-stripped-lower-receiver.html

Or an ugly roll mark for cheapish https://www.slickguns.com/product/g...-receiver-glock-mag-wmag-catch-assembly-eject

Torkmag is supposed to be releasing a Magbock that takes Glock mags this summer, and Tennessee arms is working on a plastic lower due out soon, and spikes is due for a metal one as well. (I've been shopping).

Kinda been looking at Colt style lowers though. I think they look better and have a functional bolt hold open.

Without free shipping. ;)

But they do offer last round bolt hold open upper so I may have to look into that. Thanks! - https://www.runnerrunnerguns.com/9mm_Last_Round_Bolt_Hold_Open_Stripped_Upper_p/9mm-upper-r.htm
Last Round Hold Open is not configured / setup in the lower receiver. LRHO can be accomplished in our 9mm Billet Uppers through a proprietary design.

... the small “hook” end of the wire form in the upper should be pushed up by the follower of an empty Glock magazine which will engage the bolt catch on the last round fired to hold the bolt in the locked position.

After doing more research I am leaning toward the Nfa from Joe bobs. Got a few days to decide before I order.

Thanks for the input.
