I was wondering if the fire control groups for 47s and 74s are the same.(Specifically semiauto, but I'd be curious if the Russians wanted their FA 7.62 and 5.45 rifles to have reciprocity)Would a Tapco G2 trigger fit both guns?

I know G2 offers two types of AK trigger groups, double and single hook.
The AK74 rifle series, as far as I know, always uses a stamped receiver. All the stamped receivers I'm aware of require single hook trigger sets.

AK-47 rifles sometimes come with a milled receiver, which requires a double hook trigger set.

Actually, you can mod the double hook trigger set to work with a single hook receiver, but it isnt a drop in mod.

Over 90% of the AKM and AK74 parts are interchangeable.

    Less for the original AK-47.
