Love to get it to but the price factor does make it difficult to justify.I saw a ruger super redhawk "toklat" at the local shop the other day in 454, I would love to buy it but I can't justify the purchase beyond the cool factor, and I live in Alaska so if that isn't enough reason I don't think anything can help me.
I'm a Ruger fan but have never heard of the Super Redhawk "Toklat" varient. Was that a factory offering or a custom run?I saw a ruger super redhawk "toklat" at the local shop the other day in 454, I would love to buy it but I can't justify the purchase beyond the cool factor, and I live in Alaska so if that isn't enough reason I don't think anything can help me.
TALO run of 5" guns.I'm a Ruger fan but have never heard of the Super Redhawk "Toklat" varient.
All you need now is every .357 S&W made.Well, I guess 10 44s gives away my preference, but I do have 3 45 autos too.
21 feet.... that's what the CCW class emphasized. A charge, thats what the CCW class emphasized. So what does this mean really? It means that you have to be on your shot. This means hours on the range... and not the target range either... it means Gunsight/Frontsight etc or that venue or competition activity. So now my OPINION...Sure, they have always been around, and have a great reputation for self defense performance, but should we now focus on them to end "the crisis"? First of all, they don't throw brass in the grass, etc. They get the job done with less pressure, making the brass last longer. They are pre-expanded (isn't a.45 is what a .380 or 9mm wants to be when it mushrooms?) and cut big holes in things. They do very well with CAST LEAD BULLETS (a viable answer to the "bullet shortage"). What's not to like? OK, you DO need big pockets to pocket carry them, and not everyone's wife, mom, or girlfriend knows how to let out pockets on the sewing machine. I haven't run out of .22's, or my other reserves of bullets YET, but I am eyeballing that dusty, rusty old Lee pot, and thinking about standing on the corner with a sign "Will Work for Wheelweights".......................
Revolver Ocelot, did they happen to make a "Toklat" SRH in 480 Ruger by chance?supposedly the toklat's are a special run for Alaska only, they have a 5.5" barrel, the one I was looking at was 800 bucks and they had a diamond d guides choice holster molded for it (evidently one of diamond d's employees bought one so he decided to mold a bunch of holsters off of it).
I want it so bad, but I know it's an impulse buy.
