Are police whip-out batons legal to carry on your persons? Or are the laws state specific, or just no for all 50 states? Like what I'm talking about below..
It's a felony to carry, but it's only a misdemeaner to carry a firearm without a ccw..
Go figure..

Yeah, NY law bans 'any... billy, blackjack, bludgeon...sand bag, sandclub.' I'd say it isn't covered under any of these, but there's no definition for bludgeon, and IANAL.
