About 2 years ago I bought a cheap $4 gun show knife. A year ago or so I bought a nice Kershaw Scallion assisted opener and I was happy with that. Well, recently I decided I needed another knife or two. Earlier this week (or was it late last week) I bought a Boker "Original Bowie" knife with a nice stag horn handle. Today I just bought a W.R. Case folder (a hunting folder). Really nice looking wood and brass grips, 3 interchangable blades, very solid feel, good solid lockback lock. Really nice knife. Then about 2 hours later I went to Walmart and bought a Kershaw Vapor II folder with a partially serrated blade. Next paycheck I think I'll be picking up a USMC Ka-bar (or I might get one of the commemerative US Army Ka-bars). Man, this is going to get expensive.
Hmm, anyone have some suggestions for nice quality but inexpensive defensive folders, wood handled folders, and fixed blades? Are the Winchester knives any good (I like the looks)? There goes a part of the new gun fund.
