Well I have been overseas working on our farm and getting everything sorted out for the grand move. Funny I can not log in to THR when there. Upon my return to the states I took 4 ARs, 2 SKs (one was the Russian) and a couple of 9mm pistols to Houston where some of the guys at the police department have been ragging on me to bring anything I might want to sell.
I sold everything I took and the Russian SKS now resides in a glass case at one of the officer's homes in a room he refers to as his man cave. I am glad it went to someone who could appreciate it. It was sold for $420 and was not a hard sell; he looked, touched and smelled...I asked if his check would bounce and he said if it did come back and he would write me another one... Friends are priceless...
Everyone knows when the stateside anchor of a house sells I will be selling a few more pistols, ARs, and shotguns.. I can not import to our new home and have to buy locally (actually the wife has to buy and says she will if I am a good boy) in our new country.. Selling certain fire arms feels like you best dog died sometimes... But it is what it is.
