Just out of curiosity,

How long did it take for you to get your rifle after you ordered it? And what did you get?

Just curious to see the general consensus of wait time.

I was lucky...LAR-8 got to the shop maybe 20min. before I walk threw the doors. Owner is a freind and asked if I would like to see the new arrivals.

My dealer always has a good stock of RRA, contacting them about service however is impossible. 4 months no answer to any of my emails or phone calls.

Mine took 14 weeks exactly and that was two years ago when they were stating approx. 12 weeks. It could be forever these days. You could easily hand pick your components and easily assemble yourself. I ordered the 16" midlength carbine. I do not like the heavy barrel, or lack of m4 cuts, but it works perfectly.

Very odd, I just ordered a 1" ring for my high rise mount (warranty) and was on the phone maybe 5 minutes. I always get top notch service

To the OP, I ordered my CAR 9mm, through AR15Sales, and he shipped the day my MO made it to him.

About a year and a half ago I ordered a RRA flat top carbine from ADCO firearms. Good price and got it within a week.

Ordered my A2 20" in October 2008- it arrived in June of 2009. I think the barrel was the hold-up, at least that's what I was told.

Mine was similar to Wanta B. I walked in to actually buy a 5.56 lower (Christmas Eve 2009). Messed around at the counter for a while and the guy handed me a RRA LAR-8 .308 flattop. And once I touched it I had to own it. Turned out it had just shown up at the store but was ordered in late 2007. 2 years! Had I not decided to visit my local gun shop on Christmas eve, somebody else would have had themselve a very RRA christmas.
