Rock River Order Time?

I ordered a Rock River 20" Varmint flat-top upper and trigger assy for my Car-15 nearly three months ago...still no delivery date. I suppose they are supplying the military... Did anyone else have delayed delivery from Rock River, and how long?

Military? I doubt that. I believe they are filling a big DEA order...but that should have nothing to do with the supply of 20" varmint uppers.

Like Bushmaster, it takes months and months to get an item direct from them. Always best to go through a dealer who has it in stock, or can gurantee a ETA. Many times a barrel from Bushmaster takes 4-6 months go ship out, while a dealer may have to wait 3 weeks to get it.


There is a massive demand for AR-15 rifles, uppers and parts these days, and there is no end in sight.

I was told 6 month wait time back in January. Don't know if it's gotten better or worse since then... The rifle my dealer found came sans carry handle and sights... Not exactly what I had ordered.

I went to the dealer and built a RRA Ar
no prob getting the parts much better than going direct

I agree with the other posters. Find a dealer that handles RRA. Usually you will find it cheaper than RRA factory and in stock. I recently purchased a RRA 24" A4 Varmit upper from www.ar15sales.com and received my upper within 3 days of him receiving my M.O. Give him a shout and see if he has a 20" in stock.
