Pistol Grip Stock

Im looking into geting a new stock for my Maverick 88.
Im intrested in geting a pistol grip synthetic stock but I have a few questions.

Does all stocks that fit the mossberg 500 fit the 88.

Whats a good website to buy from I do live in canada.

Has anyone found anthing they dident like about the stocks.

ive got a 500 with and adjustable pistol grip stock and love it, get one and enjoy

I like the concept of a pistol grip shotgun stock and have a speedfeed for my remington 870. The problem you will enounter with that stock is easy manipulation of the tang safety on a mossberg 500 (AKA maverick 88). The 870 safety is behind the trigger so it's still easy to reach with a pistol grip stock.

Good thing about the 88, it has a crossbolt safty in front of the trigger.

I had the same stock on my 870 I didnt like it. It hurt quite a bit, I then got the knoxx spec ops and now dont have that problem.

The buttstock for the Moss500 is interchangable with the Mav88, but not the forearm

If you want a pistol grip, get the Knoxx.

I really dont want something like the knoxx.
Im going to be using it for clays and hunting not HD.
I do have a 27 inch barrel so it's not short.
Also cant I change the pad around if i dont like it ?
If anyone knows another stock like this I might be able to be talked into it.

I have this stock on a Mossberg 500 18inch HD gun.

Its sort of "thin" in the pistol grip area, but certainly more ergonomic for "tactical" stuff. You can reload easier with the pistol grip it seems.

I dont know that I would trust any of ATI's foldable stocks, but this one is just a solid piece of polymer so theres not much that can go wrong. Its a good low cost alternative to the standard stock.
