i bought my first cz40 for $349 in 2004. I looked at one the other day used for $475....i was dumb founded..and people say houses are good investments!!!
i need to buy another couple CZ-40b pistols before they're gone for good. i wish CZ would build more pistols on that frame - if only more people knew about them, they make excellent 1911-style production and limited-10 guns.
WHOAAA!!!... Saw a couple pics of that 40B of yours burningsquirrels, with the handle work (beatutiful!!)... You're gonna give Angus competition!
Regarding the fiance, you can always get another Woman, but a good Gun....
I'd take all the money and buy a couple of 40Bs... they ain't makin em any more!
you mean this one? the 40b is easy to do grips for, it's just plain flat sheet metal. i wouldn't know where to begin with the 75's frame.
the woman is perfect, else i wouldn't have asked would i? maybe i can do a cover charge to attend the wedding and reception. or better yet, do you know any gun shops that do wedding registries? so far i think the wedding is easily more than a hundred 40b pistols put together i think the BATF might have a problem with that. "uhh sir?" "yes?" "we've got a citizen, he purchased more than 2 firearms in a week." "so?" "he purchased a hundred in one go."
mec-gar at cdnninvestments.com are usually $20-$25. i pay $20 for my 40sw 12 round magazines.
i'd buy that $15 40sw mag, but i already have six mags at the moment for limited-10. i haven't needed more than 40 rounds to complete a stage, so that leaves two backups/stripper mags. plus, the rubber bouncy base plates i need are an extra 9 bucks each.
Mec-Gar magazines are actually superior to CZ OEM magazines (when they aren't one in the same). They have a better follower design.
The only reason to pay the extra for OEM magazines is because current production Mec-Gars do not fit the 1977-1985 frames very well at all. They will often work on 1986-1994 models, however. The newest OEM magazines do not always fit the 1977-1985 frames, either.
well, they stick out a little in the front in the foward direction but that's it, since the frontstrap on the 40b is flatter than the 75. we're both talking about the $9 ones from czcustom.com, right? i think they're supposed to stick out a little bit do if they don't drop-free you have something extra to grab on to. i need the rubber ones because the old plastic ones shatter, and the metal ones bend when they hit the concrete floor at indoor matches.
Does anyone even know where to find MecGar mags in stock? I just bought a 75B a couple days ago, and the first thing I noticed is that mags are back ordered everywhere. Ditto the rubber grips.

I ordered two MG CZ75B mags from www.arizonagunrunners.net two weeks ago for 20.22 each plus 10 dollars shipping. Shipping was pretty fast too. Good luck.
Feel a little better now for what I paid for my 'used' cz75b guess it's a tactical since it's od green. From looking at it I still can't see where it was used... Already tore her down and she is clean with no wear except on the barrel where it was 'demoed'.
I think most people go on the theory that higher prices means a better gun.
Also they go on names they hear Colt,Kimber,S&W,HK and Glock etc. so they never look at any others.
I always wanted a HI-Power but never could find or afford one but when I saw the 75B and read the reviews I quit going to lunch and started saving my pennies
Now start savin' for that P-01 ANVIL... you won't regret the 'skimpin' at all!...
You got a great collection of guns there, another one-or-two CZs will do nothin but help it!
