Just registered, so I don't what has been posted in the past. I had heard and read that A & H went out of business, is this true? I have a 420 rifle and love it. I had also heard that Traditions bought them or something along those lines. Anybody with any info please? I'd like to get another A &H. Thanks

A&H did go out of business and I remember that they
had a large clearance liquidation on their remaining
guns and parts before they closed.
Traditions offers an exact copy the A&H Mountain Rifle
that some have said is made with A&H parts, except the
barrel has a type of matte finish. But that's the only A&H
model that they sell that I'm aware of.

I've seen A&H inlines for sale on Gunbroker in the past, and one
person posted a new one for sale here that they won at a raffle.

See post #14:

One problem is that replacement parts will be difficult to
find.
There was also a limited run of A&H bolt action in line
shotguns and 3 were reportedly leftover at a PA
Gander Mountain for $430 back in August, 2008.
The attached pictures show just how beautiful that model is! :)

Thanks for the info. It's too bad the went out of business, I think it's one of the most visually appealing weapons I own, or have seen for the price. I killed two doe and 11 pt while I lived in ohio. I just wish I would have bought the 209 primer conversion when it was available. Thanks again.

The 209 conversion kit for the Austin Halleck rifle is available from Precision Rifle Bullet; just saw it on their website today for $69.99. I agree that the rifle is the best looking inline muzzleloader made.
