Auto ordnance m1 carbine issues

I am having a feed issue the last two rounds will not feed. Load 15 and shoot 13 fast as you can pull the trigger then the round flips up. What do you all think the issue is. All spring in the gun have been replaced with new military surplus springs. The mag catch is what came on the rifle if that helps it seems like a sloopy fit.

....or weak mag springs. Unless they've been replaced those things potentially have lots of miles on them.

The mag spring in backwards puts pressure on the rear of the follower, not the front as designed.

Tear them down and check that first.

Ditto on the mag issue. My AO runs fine with USGI mags.

I had the same problem. I determined that it was the mag catch. I purchase a mag catch from Fulton Armory. Problem solved. The magazines now fit nice and tight, no slop. Simple fix.
