I agree, it is hugely frustrating.
Even worse the scarcity breeds more scarcity, since, it you find several boxes when looking for one, you tend to buy more.
And, since the scarcity is driving up the price, there's "sticker shock" to deal with, too. I pu;;ed out a box of S&B .380 with a $7.85 price tag--makes a harsh comparison to the $18.95 price I saw on some UMC the other day.
Calm ought to be the order of the day--but it can be hard to remain calm when all around is chaos and franticness.
