I have a new Baikal Coach Gun MP220 and I'm doing the cowboy action shooting mods listed here. I only ever intend to use this for SASS CASS events, so don't worry I don't plan to use this as a home defense or hunting gun.
If somebody has worked on these shotguns (same as Remington Spartan):
I've done the simple stuff, but I am stuck on disassembling the receiver. There's a bolt/nut that appears to travel through the receiver for the breech lever - it's a big star on each side (but not a normal star or torx wrench). Is that a special gunsmithing screwdriver used to turn that screw? Or do I leave that alone, and the bottom plate drops off without removing the take down lever screw?
