Balisong

I'm interested in learning how to handle (best word I could think of) a balisong. I'd like to maybe carry it EDC, but am more interested in learning just as something new to learn.

Is there anything online or perhaps a book I can find to learn this? There aren't any instructors around here for anything besides martial arts, and they don't teach balisong.

you have four choices
1.buy a trainer knife (no edges benchmade makes a nice one)
2.get books or videos on it
3.the website posted above and other internet sites (try youtube they had a few demos there)
4.buy one and play thats what i did

option 4 is the hard way you will cut yourself at minimum once im not a bali master by any means but i can flip flop with some style both handed and learning the hard way always feels more rewarding to me someday ill get proper instruction but its on the to do list

as for EDC be warned in alot of states its eligal to carry butterfly/balisongs because its considered a one hand operated knife but its a state by state regulation here in delaware you cant carry at all i can own it just cant leave the house with it unless its "OFF" my person i.e. in luggage or the trunk or something along those lines
