I have a Browning BAR 30-06 that needs a new stock and wondered if the Remington 7400 stock was interchangable?
Thanks for the info. I'd seen them mentioned in a other thread and it read as though they were essentially clones of each other like many of the other guns out there which are branded differently but are essentually the same. I didn't know so I though I'd ask.
Why not? Have you ever seen a Remington Model 11 beside a Browning A-5? They are very much alike in appearance. Some external components such as stocks and fore grips may interchange with little or no modification. And yet they are two different guns. Why would it be interchangeable? They're two different rifles.

YUP, I sure have. But apparently the OP hadn't, so what we know doesn't answer his question unless we share that knowlege in a polite manner.Sure. But have you ever seen a 7400 beside a BAR?
