THR member Friz lived next door to him in Chicago and spoke with him regarding this issue. He supports the complete removal of firearms from society--licensing, registration and confiscation.

Obviously Obama thinks low income people of color aren't peaceful, educated or sober enough to own firearms.
Ban semi-automatics, and more possession restrictions
Even white people can't be trusted with semi autos! Ban them entirely and make all the other types of guns harder and more expensive to sell, buy, own and shoot.

I haven't even heard much that makes me feel good.
He's just what the Left deserves, though. Someone who has never done a productive thing in his life, or shown any ability to lead, but speaks well and isn't shy about telling others how they should live their lives.
Why isn't he a professor, though? Too much competition?
Look, I'm not happy, as a libertarian conservative/classical liberal type. McCain? No way! Clinton? Not a chance. Obama? Scary. Bush at least had connections that were useful after 9/11. Guiliani? I'm not sure WHAT he's really about, but he's shown some leadership, at any rate.
My bet: someone will emerge, someone we aren't hearing about daily, like Kerry in 2004, Bush in 2000. Who? I wonder.

Obama will be Hillary's running mate and our next Vice President. I know being cynical is the easiest thing in the world to do, but at this point back in 1999 G.W. Bush was the assumed front runner for the Republican nomination because of all his connections and fund raising potential. Money talks. Hillary is in much the same position.
