What is the target velocity for 40 cal Barnes 155 HP?

I’ve heard that 1200 to 1300 is about right. Faster just pushes the HP petals back further and doesn’t increase penetration depth much more. Looks like I could get 1400+ out of a 6” barrel in 10mm with AA#9. But based on what I’ve heard, 1300 with CFE Pistol may be better.

For reference. About the same lengths, ever so slightly a little longer left to right.
Left, 357 cast and coated 180 grain. I’m giving up on handgun hunting with 357. Marginal, IMO.
Middle, 40 cal Barnes HP 155 grain. Possible 357 replacement.
Right, 45 cal cast and coated 335 grain. Been getting it done for twenty years for me.
