I was messing with BE86 when it first appeared. I got good results with a 115g plated in the medium to high load range, but absolute crap with a 147g. Never could dial it in. They were OK from my MP9FS but were all over the place out of myLC9. Once I got the 115s dialed I just never messed around with it again. I just picked up some Acme 124g coated and am gonna give it another shot soon.

On a side note I load 45ACP +P for my FNX45 with BE86. Feels like your shooting a 357Mag.

I would try 4.6/4.8/5.0/5.2 gr of BE-86 with ACME 124 gr coated bullet as my initial powder work up. Alliant lists 5.7 gr as max charge for 125 gr lead RN bullet loaded to 1.120" - http://www.alliantpowder.com/reload...wderlist.aspx&type=1&powderid=38&cartridge=23
9mm 125 gr Lead RN OAL 1.120" Max 5.7 gr 1,179 fps
I got sub 1" four shot cluster with 5.2 gr BE-86 and RMR Hardcore Match RN loaded longer at 1.160" - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.p...ick-plated-bullets.761471/page-5#post-9655361

Going to work them up from plunk testing @ 1.125 W/G43. For steel and paper. know they are not an expandable. And are fphp The new rmr's. was going to use the shorter oal for a few other 9mms/cz9c s&w9c 40 to 9 wolf. conv. but that round I previously loaded is a lil. dirty but shoots pretty dern nice.
