Beginner reloader 45 auto 200gn 230gn powder

Competed once realize 150 rounds of
45 is expensive and hard to get
Therefore using bread new dillon 550
(45 cal is the only shells and bullets I can find)
therefore makes sense to reload them

Competition varies from 25 to 75 feet.
Looking to accurately shoot those distances
With minimal recoil in the Glock 21.
200gn tips: Setting OAL 1.265 "
Winchester 231 powder 4.8 gn.

230gn tips: setting OAL 1.270"
Winchester 232 powder 5.1 gn
Does this sound right to anyone? Thanks!

I personally seat all 200-230gr round nose bullets to 1.25". They tend to feed better for me in most pistols. We can't tell you if you powder charges are in a safe range, you didn't say whether they're lead, plated, fmj, hollow points, swc, or what. The only info you've given us regarding the bullets is weight. Did you "work up" your powder charges or just load up a MAX charge listed in a manual?

^ Funny thing, but every 45 ACP load I've looked at so far, the jacketed and the cast data are very, very similar, if not the same. Maybe it's just the powders I use?

OP, I find it curious you're loading less powder with the lighter bullets. You usually use relatively more powder for a lighter bullet.
