I'm assume both only come in .22LR. Does a mag for one work in the other? What's the difference? I read somewhere the 70S has fixed sights and the 71 has adjustable, but I've seen 70S models with adjustable sights.

There were also a Model 71 with adjustable sights imported after the Gun Control Act of 1968. I've got a few variations of Beretta medium frame .22 pistols. My 70S has a steel frame, the 71 aluminum. Both have adjustable sights and thumbrest grips, as they were imported after 1968. I've got another 71, pre-68, that has fixed sights and flat-sided grips.
