Had one, swapped it for a Firestar 43 plus heap plenty gunleather and sundry other toys.
The 9000 is fat. Wide. Nearly too wide for me. I really didn't like the small amount of grabbing space on the slide, and found having all that reciprocating mass kerchunking away over the plastic frame in my hand felt awkward. (Glock does plastic better). It's not really purse-carryable.*
To be fair, mine was the DAO version, with a long, skritchy trigger pull, and at the time I bought it, I hadn't shot to speak of in nearly 30 years. But I didn't like it. It offered all the drawbacks of a revolver with none of the advantages and it was uncomfortable in my hand.
It did shoot straight. It's definitely not junk.
If you possibly can, shoot one before deciding. It might like you better than it did me!
