I have a Beretta 92A1 Compact w/ stainless slide and black frame. I know it's not a rare pistol, but I can't seem to find many of them for sale. Pretty sure I'm going to sell it/trade it, but it's been hard to put a real value on. Anybody have an idea how many of these pistols Beretta made and if it should command any more money than a standard black version of the same model? Thanks in advance.

If you bought it new that way and have paperwork with it that will help the value. I say that since you can swap a lot of Beretta parts around and so many "frankengun" out there.

Sounds like a nice pistol in any case, I'm a pretty big Beretta fan.

I seriously doubt there is a reliable source on production numbers when it comes to Beretta. If you call them, at best they will give you the shipping date. Even the ultra-rare Type M single stack 92s exist somewhere between 900 and 2500.....

Suffice it to say a two-tone 92 compact is uncommon and will command a slight premium to the right buyer, say $50 to $100 over a regular compact. Great pistol and they are only going to get rarer and pricier as time goes on. I would keep it if I were you- but then I already have a stainless 92fs.:)

Now if it were a Billenium, we'd be talking real $$$$....lol.
