Beretta A300 warranty

Bought an A300 the other day. Looking through the paperwork they offer a 1 year warranty which they will tack on an additional 2 years (for a total fo three years) if you fill out the warranty card and mail it in with a copy of the sales receipt. They also offer a form to fill out online but doesnt say if the online form extends the warranty period as well.

Anyone register online with Beretta?

Does an online registration give you a three year warranty?
