The Beretta 92/96 series pistols are plenty accurate. Probably more accurate than the shooter or more accurate than what the shooter will ever need out of a $500 gun.
I find myself to be more accurate with my 92F than with any Glock i have ever owned, or any pistol i own, except the Ruger MKIII. This is due to either ergonomics or the amount of rounds i have put through that particular pistol. For instance, im more accurate with my 92F than i am with my Witness 10mm, even though the Witness has a smoother trigger, match grade barrel and is SAO. This is probably because of the percieved recoil, and the fact i hjave only put 50rds through it.
