Warning Beretta customer service sucks!!!
I bought a tecknys gold sporting and it started jamming day 1 with failure to cycle on the second round. Was advise matter of factly that this was a "known" trigger group problem, to return it to Beretta and it would be replaced. Expected turnaround time 2-3 weeks! UPS shipping cost me $100 including insurance for this $1800 gun, which was not reimbursed by Beretta. Called to request refund for shipping or credit and waited 45 minutes for an answer.
Employees have a terrible attitude. Will not rush back.
Hope this helps someone avoid the frustration in the future.

I hate to disagree, but I must. I bought a 391 Urika last spring that had the same cycling issue due to a bent shell carrier. I sent it by UPS ground ($18 w/ insurance) to Beretta on a Friday. It was returned on the following Thursday (6 days later) completely repaired. I've fired hundreds of shells through it since then with not a single failure to cycle. I was disappointed that my new shotgun didn't work properly and needed repair, but I couldn't have been happier with my Beretta customer service experience.

mabella - I'm sorry you had a bad experience, but mine has been quite positive. In fact, a friend recently sent in his 391 Urika for the shell carrier and turn around was identical to RNB65's (6 days).

How on earth did you get charged $100 to ship a long gun, or was this a gross exaggeration in an angry post? I've never paid more than $16 to ship a long gun insured.

Having been in a customer service roll in almost every job I've ever had, I've learned that those with a poor concept of the big picture combined with unrealistic expectations make for consistently unhappy customers.

If you would have had your dealer ship the gun back United States Postal Service, It would have cost about $25.00 Insurance included.
Your blaming Beretta for your misdeed in shipping and then trying to make them the bad guys for not giving you a refund for your mistake.
A bad trigger group on a brand new gun is annoying granted, but they are agreeing to fix it and get the gun back in a reasonable amount of time.
If you are under the impression that problems like this never occur in the real world I suggest you buy a new vehicle and see what kind of issues turn up in the first thirty days of ownership.

Beretta has a proven track record of positive Customer Service.
What exactly do you want?
A refund for your shipping may not happen, but if you play nice and act civil, they just might send you a brand new shotgun to replace the faulty gun.

Unless I had a Corporate shipping account, and I don't, I wouldn't ship a gerbil wheel via UPS.

Maybe your attitude had something to do with the service you received?? My experience with Beretta has been excellent!!
