Which models of the Beretta 92 have the frame mounted safety? The Original 1980 Beretta 92 had this feature as well, yes? When did the weapon move to a frame-mounted magazine release? When was the slide-mounted safety added?
Does the Beretta Bilennium pistol have the frame mounted safety? That's the one that wasn't imported into the US, yes?
Is there a difference between the Italian Berettas and the US commercial ones? I've handled a US military M9; the trigger was awful. What's worse is the US military have been contracted bad magazines for the M9, which does nothing for its reliability reputation.
For the ones with the frame mounted safety: Lacking any decocker, are these cocked & locked only, or are they still double action, meaning you can either carry c&l or manually lower the hammer, ala the CZ-75?
