just bought the newest beretta design, not too shabby, really really nice grip design, tight fit, you have no choice but to "feel" the safety when it's on (it digs into the web of your hand, not necissarily a bad thing) integrated sight rail ingenious, index finger mag release (if my glock had this it would be beyond the perfect it is now, as is i cant reach the realease with out repositioning my hand, small hands) shoots very clean (150 rounds and 3 patches to clean the entire gun) and it's inexpensive. should have bought the 6 inch barrel

not the most accurate thing out there (one-two inch groups at 25 yrds standing two hand grip), but it's reliable the only complaint i have is that the mag sits loose, (i assume this aids in feeding?) and that the barrel is held on by one screw that is a pain for dissasembly and reassembly.

does anyone have any other thoghts on this gun or a good place to get accesorries I.e. a holster that will accomidate a scope.

I bought the 6" Inox model about 3 months ago. It's a decent .22 pistol for the price, but I'd really have to stretch to call it "A plinker and entry level target pistol" like Beretta does. Maybe I'm jaded and have been spoiled from using my grandfather's Hi Standards when growing up, but I can't call the Neos a target pistol.

The only real problem I have with the Neos is the trigger. It's attrocious. Mushy, creepy, and inconsistant. I've got about 500 rounds through the pistol so far, and it has smoothed up a bit, but not much. If Beretta would improve this one portion of the gun, then I would certainly consider it an "entry level target pistol".

Overall, I bought the Neos because I was looking for a "beater" .22 pistol. It came down to a Ruger Mk 2 or the Neos. When I read that Beretta was going to make a carbine kit for the Neos, I made my decision and bought it. If Beretta doesn't come through on the kit, I'll probably sell it and buy a Ruger.

I've got over 1500 rounds thru mine and the trigger has settled down quite a bit. I put a red dot on mine right away so I've never used the regular sights. The screw holding the gun together is a pain at first but if you tighten it then back off one click it helps a lot.
