I took the Bersa 380 out today to shoot some more of my preferred carry ammo.
I ran some Winchester FN FMJ through my magazines to verify it would feed without failures. Which it did just fine, but I carry Winchester Ranger .380 HP.

What an awesome pistol. The more I shoot the gun, the more I want to keep shooting it I get great scores with this pistol, and it is really helping with shooting with both eyes open. I can tell you this also. The Ranger series has a lot more pop than the WWB 380 ammo.
Another great thing about this pistol is that the sight picture never leaves. It is just bang, bang, bang, and you can still have your front sight on the target. It is a perfect balance of caliber and weight of gun IMO.

I haven't had it long, but I wouldn't get rid of it. Not at this point in time, and maybe not ever.

Yes it's probably one of the best pistol values out there.

I have had one for years and have never had a single complaint with it.

Same here, I have had my Series 95 for 5 years now, really surprising on how well they shoot. Just lets not tell everyone what a great buy they are or the prices will go up (LOL). Bought my second one a Thunder 45 UCP three months ago, another good buy.

My wife and youngest daughter both have the bersa 380CC that they carry. Great pistols for a good price. Only mags can be hard to find right now. I did find that they both run fine with both the 9 round mag and the 7 round mags with extention even after bersa cs person said they would not.

I just ordered an 8 rounder off their website. My model takes the same magazine as yours, but i think I am going to try the 9 round magazine also, as that would give me a 10 round carry load.

I have the 9 round magazine and it is really long and sticks out way past the bottom of the grip. I don't like the way it looks at all, but it does work.

I am, by no means, a Bersa basher. I have a Bersa Thunder .380 CC that I have carried for years and I borrow my dads .45 occasionally. I find them to be extremely accurate and easy to shoot for being little pocket pistols.

Having said that, I don't trust the .380 anymore. I have had 2 trigger spring failures on mine while at the range and there were less than 1000 rounds between failures.

I like the gun enough that I have repaired it twice. On the last failure, I took it to a gunsmith who replaced the spring with a new one that, supposedly, fixes this issue on a more permanent basis. It will be a few thousand more rounds before I put it in my pocket again though.

You know what. Better to just let it go, and not get into to a debate about the "name" of a firearm.

I have deleted my reply to you.

bersachat registration never sends me a confimation, and nor does my log on work. seems like a step child site.

I sent you a PM bersachat is my board Its not a step child site We are the largest Bersa board on the net . Their are a couple others but they are small. We are the oldest and largest. I also do admin and monitor the Bersaforum board which is Eagle the importer board. I have been working with them spreading the Bersa word since 2004 1st board started 2003 now lost was bersatalk. Bersachat replaced it over 3 years ago.
