Well I took two of my new guns to the range today and thought I would share some observations.

-Bersa Thunder .380, This is a pretty nice shooting gun. For the money it is an absoulute steal. I had absoultley no FTF or FTE with 100 rds shot through it. Winchester WB .380's and Federal Hydrashocks. It was fairly accurate for such a small gun. I am sure it is more accurate than I am. I was shooting about 3" groups at 10yrds. This may not sound impressive as I seem to read alot of range reports on here where everybody seems to be able to shoot 1/2" groups with mouse guns at 25yrds, but in the real world I thought it was more than accurate for its intended purpose. I felt that this thing was more comfortable to shoot than the last Sig 230 that I got to shoot, but for me this style of gun seems to really pound the web of my shooting hand. I need to have a slightly lower hold than I use on other guns. Overall I give this gun a big thumbs up!!

-Ruger PC4. This Carbine kinda suprised me. Recoil was much more than anticipated, but very managable, not a big deal. I had one FTE with Remignton 180gr UMC at 23rds, but it functioned perfectley after that. I fired about 200rds through it of assorted ammo, 180gr Gold Dots, 180gr Winchester SXT's, 180gr Winchester WB, 180 gr Remington UMC's. Gun was not at all accurate. Do not buy this gun with the Ghost ring sights. The ring is much to big to be even remotley accurate. Both my self and the range master could only coax about 4" groups at 25yrd's with very slow firing. I should have purchased this gun with the regular rifle sights. Gohst rings are way off from the factory. They had to be cranked all the way to the left in order to get them centered. Over all I would have to say that I like the rifle, and will keep it, but I will need to change the sights. I have actually just ordered a reddot sight for this gun which is what I will be using. I ordered the Burris Speed Dot 135.

Is anyone familliar with this peice? I hope it works out much better than the stock sights. I would also appreciate any thoughts on the Burris Fullfield II which I also ordered for mounting on my Savage .308.

Both seem to be pretty good buys. I hope this of intrest to some of you. And thanks in advance for any info you all can give me on these two pieces of optics. Thanks Juan
