Best assisted opening pocket knife for under $100

Which is the best assisted opening knife for under $100? Currently, I use a Gerber and they've served me well. However, I'd like something that holds an edge longer. I use my knife for everything (other than prying or screwing things) and I'd like to have a knife that stays as sharp as long as possible.

Both great choices. I would also look at the Kershaw Blur.

And I'll put one in for the Kershaw Leek.

IMHO, with Benchmade or Kershaw's AO knives, you'll do very well. Look for models that offer D2, S30V or other advanced knife steels. That'll help you with your edge retention.

Kershaw Combination blade. Takes a leaf out of the Samurai book and makes a two layer blade. Strong and, believe me, it has been otherworldly sharp.

Anything Kershaw. I went to Kershaw Ener-G2 it is not an assisted open. But it does open like one.
