I'm looking into getting an AR15/M4 style weapon, and I don't want nothing fancy;), just a plain AR, withut any special stocks or anything, with rails or not. What is a good affordable, accurate AR, brand and model please.

I have heard some good things about Doublestar. The S&W MP15 also has some fans.

I would say that most would be pretty accurate so long as there isn't some kind of manufacturing defect.

I'm just going to paste some from Buds Gun Shop:
$793, with rail no optics:

I just bought a DPMS Oracle from a local shop for $575. I have no complaints with the gun but I have only put about 150 rounds downrange. Most people will steer you away from DPMS, and one guy on here has some convincing evidence but I took the gamble on my DPMS and so far, so good.

It just depends how much you want to spend.

i had a dpms sportical. It shot moa with loads it liked and never missed a beat. My buddy talked me out of it but for 600 bucks its hard to beat the bang for the buck.

Look up Red X arms, very nice guns at a good price, just bought one this weekend, Aero lower, 16"BULL barrel stainless, Fa, dust cover, free-float tube, new for $630, shoots like a charm, free shipping to boot.

Palmetto State Armory...

If you are willing to subject yourself to the fun of building your own AR, you can have a high quality carbine for under $600.

Buy this:

and a stripped lower (About $80).

If you're too afraid to spend an hour or two assembling the kit, you can buy the complete lower and complete upper and still come in under $700.

As a gunsmith specializing in pistol caliber AR conversions....couldn't agree more with Palmetto state armory or Del-Ton.....either are good reliable companies with excellent customer service and reasonable prices.....build your own.....you'll enjoy it and will know better how to maintain your rifle.

Outside of building with a PSA complete upper, and good lower parts kit; I've yet to see higher quality parts & assembly than what you get from a S&W M&P-15 Sport. Del-Ton is stepping up their game, but S&W is still using better components at competing prices.
