Hi guys,
I have a three 9mm semi-autos that I love but none of them are particularly sleek or beautiful! (I know there are other people out there who refer to their guns like that;))
Anyways, I am looking to spend about $800-$900 and buy a "sleek and beautiful" full size 9mm semi-auto. I would want to stay away from polymer but it really narrows down choices. Any suggestions?

Hard to beat the classic lines of the Beretta 92 series ... and I just so happen to have one I'd let for for a lot less than $800. ;)

I'd have to agree. I like the Beretta 92FS, as well. If that's not what you're into, there's the Browning Hi-power or you can get a 9mm 1911 for about 900.

Hard to pick just one. For full size 9mm, I always liked the various Sig P226 models. Also have a soft spot for the CZ 85 Combat duel tone model and the S&W 5906 stainless.

The H&K P30 / P30L, Beretta 92FS, Walther P99, all great looking pistols all high quality. SIG P226 is a big ugly Weapon, it is my favorite I have both it and the Beretta. SIG has over 10,000 rounds and not one malfunction, ever, laser accurate but butt ugly, works everytime. I use a Glock G34 in USPSA / IDPA matches it is my best shooting 9mm, but it's days are numbered... I am waiting on an STI Custom single stack 1911 in 9mm. If you like the 1911 then the STI Spartan may be the ticket.

Hey guys, this is my first post but thought I would chime in. I know it's out of the price range a bit ($1,200, though I've seen them a touch cheaper) but I have a Kimber Pro Aegis II and highly recommend it.

I've noticed everyone on here seems to have extremely polar opinions about Kimber (it's either god's gift to man in gun form or the sorriest sack of over-priced junk ever made) but I can say that I love it for a multitude of reasons. 1) It's quite balanced in the hand, 2) seems that I, personally, can shoot it much more accurately than any of my other guns, and 3) it sure is darn pretty. Oh yeah, and I've put about 1,000 rounds total through it, ranging from S&B FMJ's to dirt cheap monarch through it and have yet to have 1 malfunction of any kind. I'm not trying to paint it to be the perfect gun, but I believe that it is for me.

Though it is higher than you stated you wish to pay, I would recommend at least thinking about splurging an extra $300 on this pistol.
