My idea of the best looking S&W revolver would be a 4" Model 686. The perfect balance of form and function.

test drive: i'm right there with ya! model 66 (no dash) with a short barrel!

mmm!! beauty

i really should take some pics and post em...

I'm partial to the early hand-ejectors, round butt, 4" tapered (pencil) barrel. They are the cleanest, smoothest looking Smiths IMHO. Keep shootin'

Best Smith??

You know, I'm starting to think, the Model 19-5*4" Blue, that I'm getting ready to pass down to my oldest Son??:confused:
Oh well, I DO have a couple more to look at, still.;)

How about a nickel 4.5" Registered Magnum. Can't say it the "best looking" since very few have actuality seen one.
(Just sold on an auction site for > $11 grand.)

If that don't make your heart skip a beat, your not a true S&W fan.

mmitch, nice 624.

I love my 24-3 Lew Horton with 3" tapered barrel. I'd love a snub model 19 to compliment it.

I also love L frames and my 4" 586 really gets my blood pumping as does my 696. I wish I was good at photography and posting pics.

Nice job guys!!

Model 14, then a model 15, then an N frame with a 6" barrel.

And snubbies have a cool look all their own.

I literally just bought this old Austin Behlert custom 25-2, picked it up the day before yesterday. For me, one of the primary attractions was it's appearance. The fact that it's a helluva shooter with a wicked slick action is bonus! Now I just have to find the right grips to set it off.

My Smith & Wesson Model 27-2 with 3 1/2 inch barrel and combat grips is my safe queen (my safe queens make regular trips to the range). It looks almost identical to CajunBass's 28-2. BEAUTIFUL!!!
