The Ugly:

The ever-infamous Hi Point

I could go on, but the Hi Point has made me nauseated.

I wish I could afford one of these.

Pretty, pick one.
(Just checked this, they used to have a lot more pictures)

I would have said that my Hi-point was one of the ugliest, but some of the pictures posted in this thread make it look respectable.

I like a good looking 1911 as much as the next guy, but functionality is what gets me going.

I love how my XD looks. Tacticool is beautiful :D

Best looking: Ruger SA revolver blackhawk and 1911 style guns

Worst looking: well I think Rival has that covered.... Yuck!. I also don't like the space cadet plastic ones such as the neo.

Good looking gun. Yes the gun, get your minds out of the gutter boys.

The jury is still out on this gun
CZ-83

This is a really great pistol. But the looks are a little lacking unless your punching itty bitty groups with it.

There was a CZ PCR DuoTone that (I think) Schuey used to own and posted pics of on TFL.

That, IMO, was the absolute most beautiful gun my eyes have ever beheld.

Ugliest is the one pointed at me or mine.

Ugliest vs. prettiest?

Among the guns I own?

I'd say the non-functioning FIE Titan .25 has to be the ugliest. My prettiest is a Colt .36 Navy with silver plated backstrap.

I like Colt Pythons

I agree with a previous poster that Colt Pythons are beautiful guns. Here is a picture of one in electroless nickel, with a 4-inch barrel.

Mateba Autorevolver. A solution to a problem we never knew we had.

Well, 1911s gotta be on the 'best looking' list but probably not the singularly best looking in my opinion. Older blued P-08s are very nice as are several of the pocket Colt 32s. And I really like the Sphinx guns as well, esp that palladium finish.

Ugliest? There is one gun that looks similar to the Nambu but is even uglier and blockier... but I can't remember what the name of it is. It makes the standard Hi Points look almost ergonomic. And though I like them both, the CZ52 and the Tokarev are pretty unsightly in my opinion.

And though I like them both, the CZ52 and the Tokarev are pretty unsightly in my opinion.

That they are, though the CZ52's looks have grown on me since I got mine. Fortunately, both those guns have the same thing going for them to make up for their inherent lack of sexiness: 7.62x25! Great round.

best looking?

Its been said that 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder'. Possibly, it might be in the 'hands of the holder'.

I like whaterver it was that Raquel Welch had in "Hannie Caulder".

salty.

Ugliest:
Any 1911. The gussied-up ones look like a pimp just won a craps game. The military ones look like a '72 Buick in primer: big, fussy, and hard to start.

Prettiest:
Smith model 10. Produced over 100 years, over 1M copies made, will outshoot about anything out there, and available for very little money.

Best looking?

That's difficult. For me, probably a pre-WWII Colt Government Model, or a Single Action Army with case colored frame and one piece ivory stock. Maybe a Rennaisance model High Power or an older model, deep blue S&W N-frame.

Uglier than the Nambu 94, homlier than the Liberator, more angular than the Dreyse, clumsier than a Roth Steyr:
The FN FiveseveN :barf:

Best,
Johnny
